I couldn’t recommend this Mathnasium location enough. Katy who runs it, goes above and beyond for her students.
From the moment she took over the location the first thing she did was turn her desk around so that she can keep an eye on the students. Sounds like a pretty simple act but it really tells everything. She familiarized herself with every student’s strengths and weaknesses. She takes the time to plan and customize a plan for each She truly cares about her students success and it shows.
The communication is top notch and she is always accommodating every request as best she can. It’s been such a great experience and the results speak for themselves.
I highly recommend the program and specifically Katy’s location.

We have been very happy with the program and the staff, who have worked well with our son for over 6 years now. The staff have all been very helpful and it's been an excellent experience overall. We have seen tremendous growth in our son's overall math skills and he has done very well this year, as he is completing his grade 11 math course.

Why didn't I find out about your program sooner? Amazing experience so far. Really nice, kind staff; the site is nicely decorated, clean and spacious. I find the rates reasonable. The program is organized in an intelligent way, with each student working at their own level, doing the worksheets to improve not only their comprehension but their speed and accuracy. Thank you!!!

Mathnasium has built a confidence in my kids that they haven't had before. They take on their math challenges with a new belief that they will figure it out. They enjoy completing math homework now which is amazing! They love going to the centre and completing their work and coming to share how many pages they completed and what they got from the wheel. They Love the staff and feel supported, i would definitely recommend Thornhill location to anyone looking to give their child a new confidence when it comes to learning math.

Alexa is very accommodating and gets right back to you. Instructors have been good , some whom my kids find clearer explainers than others . We have a good sense of what goals they are working on as well.
As there is not enough time in dual curriculum programs to practice the math skills , Mathansium helps ensure students are keeping up with the needed grade levels .

Love that it can be done from home, no rushing around after school, love that so much. But the best part is that they work on my son's actual math homework that he is assigned daily and we have seen dramatic improvements in his grades and his confidence in math, both of which are priceless to us. Worth every penny!

The Mathnasium program is like no other. I have watched my son go from struggling and trying to memorize to understanding and applying (which makes math so much easier). To be able to grasp mathematical concepts and know how and when to apply them is not something that comes easy for many. With the help of Mathnasium my son is now able to do that (with a lot of practice of course). Math wasn't easy for me when I was young and even with the help of tutors I still struggled. It wasn't until my adult years that math finally made sense as I applied it to everyday life and work. At least for my son, he will not have to go through what I went through and wait for his adult years for math to click. So thankful for Mathnasium!

We could not be happier with the program and the progress our son Elan has made over the last year and a half. He went from struggling and asking us to sit beside him everyday to help him with his math homework to completing it independently and successfully, and he helped his younger brother prepare for his own math test! He sounded like quite the little teacher!

Since our son Elan has been attending the program we have seen significant improvement in his math skills. Like many students, Elan's biggest challenge in the past has always been focusing on his work and just getting started on it. Although he won't admit it, we believe that the strategies employed by Mathnasium have made it easier for him to hit the ground running and stay focused while doing math work. Knowledge retention has been good as we have seen him apply what he's learned to everyday math and his school work.
Mathnasium provides a relaxed learning environment with almost 1 to 1 interaction between the instructor and the student. They offer rewards and incentives that positively reinforce good results in turn giving their students something to be excited about as well as fostering the necessary confidence building skills allowing them to learn and excel independently. Overall, the Mathnasium model works for us.

I think Mathnasium is a great concept and does a good job helping kids fill in the gaps in their math skills.
I would only suggest you do more to ensure that your staff are fully aware of the needs of each student coming in and address them specifically so that every student gets the most out of their time there. Thank you.
